Amigo Rui, tô a gramar yii framework . Vai ser o próximo jquery do lado servidor.
Só também a entrar no TDD e Agile com phpunit e selenium , é bom dá confiança mas não tenho paciência agora …

Sobre version control , que, utilizas? Tenho que agarrar um e tô na duvida. Centralized ou distributed, SVN ,GIT ou mercurial? e se usas algum , que client usas e pk?

Dou-me bem com o Netbeans, percebo agora pk a malta não atina muito com a microsoft, não tirando valor ao .net.

Wordpress para mim é para blogs, mas existem muitos sites que usam o workpress como back-end. É uma opção, mas que eu não recomendo, existem outras opções para desenvolver sites, muito melhores e mais seguras. O facto de ser popular não quer dizer que seja a melhor solução. Drupal nunca usei porque não me desperta interesse. É conhecido, assim como muitos outros, pelas suas enormes falhas de segurança.

There is no GTK_PATH or GTK or gtk in Firefox 6.0′s run-mozilla.sh.

First many thanks for your comment. To be honest I was not aware of this merge statement.

Could you post complete version based on my example? I would like to test both solutions performance. Good to know that there are other ways to achieve this.

I my case I always (almost 90%) handle transactions on the code site.

You need to update your MS Upsert to the modern Merge statement i.e.

BEGIN TRAN

MERGE INTO [dbo].[SomeTable] ChangeSet
USING (SELECT @Naturalkey1, @Naturalkey2, Naturalkey3) CurrentSet
ON
ChangeSet.Naturalkey1 = CurrentSet.Naturalkey1 AND
ChangeSet.Naturalkey2 = CurrentSet.Naturalkey2 AND
ChangeSet.Naturalkey3= CurrentSet.Naturalkey3
WHEN MATCHED THEN
UPDATE SET column1 = @column1, etc…
WHEN NOT MATCHED
THEN INSERT VALUES
(
@column1,
@Naturalkey1,
etc…
)

OUTPUT INSERTED.surrogateKey as surrogate_KEY;

COMMIT TRAN

It is a LOT cleaner!
